Teachers these days are probably too busy trying to look good and get facebook likes to notice some kid is being bullied.

As a child I was severely abused at home. I went to my teachers only to have them disregard me. Not that they don't notice they just don't care.

@curiosi *hugs* :(

@curiosi Teacher: don't bully others
also teachers: dosne't recognize the signs of a student being bullied and doesn't believe someone that says their being abused

I was bullied by a teacher when I was younger.

@SW-User I had an instructor at AIT/ tech school try to bully me.

I got evidence together and took it to his superior. He was demoted and transferred.

Take that, bitch!
SW-User
@xixgun I did the same but they didn't do anything about it.

@SW-User Thing about the military, there's always someone higher up

even if they weren't too busy with that, the bullies never get properly punished. I remember when I was in elementary school I had a nasty habit of picking and eating my buggers(TMI I know). Since my parents never told me it was a bad habit, everyone always said Elizabeth germs, and I had very few friends. Because of that I always played by myslef at recess and used my imagination and I was immature because of lack of convo. Because of my immaturity and because I was somehow behind on my English skills (I was good in math and had been in the U.S since I was a baby), I was held back in 6th grade (which in the county I went to was the last year of elementary). They never researched the reason behind my immaturity. It was in my second year of sixth grade I finally figured out why people avoided me and with the help of my teacher I got maturer and smarter.

Teaching I've been doing it wrong. Noted. I'm supposed to be getting likes on FB and not spending the majority of my day either in the classroom or doing work at home for the classroom. I certainly shouldn't be on here.😶

Is it okay if I take my child to her tumbling and dance classes Saturday or should I be on FB getting likes then too? I missed those last Saturday I had report cards and PTC prep to get through so my aunt took her. 😖

If your child is being bullied and you don't feel like his teacher is stepping up, you take it to the next level. Also, you the parent have got to step it up. You know I was at work this evening for PTC until 6:00 I had 9 parents scheduled do you know how many showed up? 6 and do you know what that hour took from me... obviously a bunch of likes on facebook.

I know everything that goes on in my classroom and I know everything that goes on in most of my students' homes. I also know bullying is real and it's a problem I look out for it daily, but there are always at least two sides to every story and sometimes a parent doesn't hear it all or they choose not to hear it all. And I don't blame them for thinking their child's an angel however I do blame parents for not being their child's advocate, their child's voice and stepping to the plate.

Now please I beg of you, head over to FB and give me a like since I'm so busy collecting them. 😂
Like any other job, there are good and bad apples. I think many teachers do care to stamp out bullying.
Only the really bad ones, no teachers I know are like that

Could be. There’s entirely too much of it going on. If it was my child being bullied and nobody intervened, I’d take it to the news! After I’d went there and raised the roof!

or worrying about bullets and/or parents that want them to teach everything for them

And your proof of this would be, what?

There are good and bad teachers everywhere
