What are your experiences with lucid dreams?

Ive heard stories of people who have had a lucid dream in which they tried to make a character in the dream aware of the fact that it was dreaming, and once this was done it adapted a personification of a facet of that person's mind, which gave it equal power in the dream to the dreamer. Makes me wonder if that's true and just how much you could learn about yourself that way if it is 🤔
