If Americans call the autumn "fall", why don't they call the spring "rise"?

Because everyone, every culture is [b]different[/b], that's why. Names for various things may be different based on where you are in the world. I'm not American but I'm assuming that they've been calling autumn fall since the seasons were named, maybe 100 years ago?

@latinbutterfly I'm not saying they have no right to be different, but that doesn't mean I can't ask questions about it, does it?
