Was it an insult?

I ran into an old uni classmate after a couple years, at the hospital. She had worked closely with me for almost 3 years, and we would coincidentally always be on the same team. We even developed a light friendship over time, that I, near graduation, shunned because of some clashes of opinions between us.
So when she saw me, the first thing she asked me was "DID YOU GET A NOSE JOB?" and when i told her no, she kept insisting for a significant amount of time, in a manner that made me quite uncomfortable, for instance by telling me I'm "a liar" or that my nose is "too straight now, that it's hard to believe it's nature". So much so, that I ran out of humor and in fact any responses at all, and told her to take my word or leave it altogether. We talked for some time, but I made my escape as soon as possible.
