That shut isn't even soup. It's just squash put in a blender until its liquefied. Baby food served hot really. That's not slow simmered broth, that's not soup.

Nah you gotta make it good.
red onion, cumin seeds, chillies, garlic, smoked paprika in olive oil in pot
then you add squash, potatoes and carrots and you saute em in the oil.
2 pints of veg stock, salt and pepper and chilli powder and leave it to go mushy then blend it later. 馃憣
