My previous phone was an iPhone 5c so have nothing modern to compare it to.
The camera is very nice, although there's a rattle in it that sometimes affects taking videos, literally shakes the lens or something. Audible rattle when using the camera. I've read that it's a problem that plagues a number of pixels out there.

The pixel 3a is the cheaper version of this phone, still has the same camera, which is the major selling point of this phone. Other phones like the Samsungs and iPhones now have 3 cameras/lenses whereas the pixel still only needs one.
