Why are Americans more concerned with Keeping up with Kardashians and the NFL than what's going on in our corrupt government?

Keeping up with the pace and extent of the corruption in our government these days is really hard.

I don't know about the Kardashians, but NFL teams at least only play one game a week.

@MistyCee they only play one game but there are hundreds of radio shows and TV networks that discuss sports 24/7. People talk about sports and argue about them more than they watch them
