Do you like raking leaves in the fall?

I do but something that makes me uneasy is that snakes camouflage really well in the leaves. Makes me kind of. Nervous if the leaves are piled up in places. I raked up two snakes one time, and it was the last week in November.

Last weekend I was walking through the park drinking chai, and noticed a black stick on the ground. Something about it had caught my attention, and as I walked closer, it started Moving! It was possibly a pine snake or something! (Not a snake expert by any means, but I am pretty sure that's what it was) it was about two-two and a half inches in width and maybe two feet long. It made me think twice before kicking leaves around..

@Medusa777 Yeah I bet. Too many copperheads around here to be kicking leaves.
