Do you like raking leaves in the fall?

I do but something that makes me uneasy is that snakes camouflage really well in the leaves. Makes me kind of. Nervous if the leaves are piled up in places. I raked up two snakes one time, and it was the last week in November.

No, I’m not the outdoorsy type, and I’m a city girl at heart. The yard is that thing you walk through to get to the car to go someplace more interesting.

If I had a yard, I’d want to let the leaves stay, to give it a “house in the woods” look.
