I think it is highly likely that he will win in 2020 for another term. He has stuck to his campaign promises, the economy has improved, unemployment has improved, many believe that the trade situation has improved. No matter what the left throws at him, it appears that it is only because they don't like him. The democrats appear as obstructionists having a tantrum because they aren't getting their way, regardless of what the country needs. I see more and more average Joe types throwing their hat in the ring for Trump, while those with a vested interest in the DNC like the climate doomsayers, teachers union, UAW and such double down on impeaching Trump. The perspective of the guy on the street is that there is one guy trying to fix things that impact that guy on the street and everyone else if trying to bring him down. I think Trump will take the day in 2020 and a great number of the house and senate from both sides will take a beating for not supporting him.

I think my faith in the political system has gone so far down it won’t even surprise me
@dommagic That's exactly what the strategy is. Some of these scandals are created by the Trump team to deflect from something worse. Like the investigation into Joe Biden. He thinks he can get away with working with Ukraine so the scandal will be about Joe. He's already done that with Russia.

it’s highly possible. not as likely as the first time, but it’s more likely than not.
Good possibility, in a lot of the Red States the Democrats need 3 times the vote to win because of suppression and all the other dirty tricks the Republicans are experts at. If all votes counted the Republicans could never win anything again.
