Does this irritate you???

I guess I am overly sensitive or something to that effect.
Someone deleted four of my comments then blocked me so I can't even see why or what it even was.
The comments couldn't have been that bad because one had four likes.
So I guess the irritating part is why does S.W. notify you that your comment was deleted when you can't even go see why?

Being in one of the oldest age ranges here I like to think I'm expected to be a bit more mindful and a bit less hasty than much younger folk. Apart from as a result of lengthy polarised discussions about religion of politics I wouldn't expect any rational person feel the need to block me.

But I once sent a four or five line reply to a posts and within seconds my inbox light came on. I went to read it and saw "why are you attacking me?" from the post I'd just replied to. I went back to the post to see if I could figure out what's caused such a misunderstanding and I couldn't see anything so I wrote back to the effect that I wasn't attacking her and what made her think I was.

And the message wouldn't send. I'd been blocked.

Some people here just aren't rational no matter how much we'd like them to be. There could be all sorts of stuff going on in their lives that we don't know about and I figure the best reaction was to just let it go. If blocking me is what they need to do then so be it, it's certainly not my place to carry the responsibility or to complain when it's cost me so little.

I can see where you are coming from. You have a very levelheaded approach to this. I did kind of get irritated with this subject even tho I know we are not all going to see the same things the same way. But this last one was so odd because they had given me a Best Answer first.LOL.
I can understand if I am a bit persistent on my stand point and things get heated. But what could I have possibly done to get Best Answer then blocked for it??? LOL. Confusing really.
But now I have been through about five other situations like this sense I wrote this and I guess I am an old hat at it now. I still would like to see what I did wrong before I get blocked tho. :-)

Me too but it'll probably never happen so I just let it go. If they're that sensitive that they need to block me the chances of am realising it and coming back to make peace with a guy they don't even know is practically zero. 🤗 @Dainbramadge
