What is London, England uniquely known for ?

In 1984 I noticed:
1. The tall black cabs
2. The huge monolithic ancient buildings
they looked like mountains not skyscrapers.
3. Black pudding

When I ate it 35 years ago it was nasty and greasy with the chips. Hopefully they learned the recipe!

@Nyloncapes I was being treated to some ale because of my crackerjacks. They did an incredible job of repairing that mess. It was two weeks after the fact and you couldn’t tell that an explosion had occurred!
