@MrAboo AFAIK it’s just free grazing. They go where they want, and have it supplemented with lots of hay.

@Axelerator but doesn’t that limit the grass species they have available to them as a result in the long run?

@MrAboo It night very well. I was not a part of the long term planning of grass and feed tbh 🙃

@Axelerator fair enough, I was mostly curious why diversity of grass and gazable greens are not focused on by more farmers.

@MrAboo In this case their grazing is just extra feeding, that the horses appreciate. They eat more than enough bought hay and other food.
For regular farmers I’m sure there is something to be gained from looking into different grass types.
