There was an Alaska delegation at this dinner with Texas oil companies begging for more investment into oil and gas exploration. All they talked about was the jobs and untapped wealth. They were winking and saying how Alaska would be extremely kind to investors

You will find those that whine about global warming and harming the environment wear synthetics like that made by Nike, Under Armor and other brands made from petroleum in sweat shops with under paid / over worked and child labor.
It is ridiculous not to mention pure hypocrisy that those who protest oil pipelines and the use of petroleum products take part in. Something that is really stupid are those that rant about global warming yet do not realize that is not going to be what kills mankind but all the herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, animal waste and other chemicals made from petroleum being put on our soil going into lakes, streams, rivers, into and out of the soil by way of farm drainage tile then into our oceans.

@acpguy Do your research, the convicts were transported to the US before they were sent to Australia. The only reason this was stopped was a matter of a little war where you kicked the British out. New Zealand was free settled, convicts were never sent there.
