Look at where that paneling meets the floor. Now look about a foot above that at the dark, wavy line that looks like an EKG readout. That’s water damage where that floor has been waterlogged, and the base of the paneling soaked some of it up. I’ve dealt with basement flooding in the past and recognize that. @MasterLee
