Why do people take so many pictures of themselves? I don't get it 😚

What confuses me even more is why people take the same picture, at the same angle, wearing the same clothes, in the same few minutes, and then upload them all. What benefit do we derive from seeing virtually the same picture sixteen different times?

Different reasons. I do it because I had always used to think of myself as ugly, and sometimes taking a nice picture is how I'm able to feel better about how I feel I look.
