The site was “a haven for drug traffickers,” attorney David Slade said in a court filing. He said Experience Project “first identified
and then tempted vulnerable drug addicts with continual entreaties to connect with drug dealers” while collecting revenue from the fees it charged for queries to group members.
The site employed data-mining techniques to analyze users’ postings, used the information to steer users to other groups and sold the data to outsiders, Slade said.
