Only if they were made of other worldly organic matter. Maybe something we have not discovered yet or ever will. But life needs oxygen, water and food to live, in my opinion.

@SW-User I think most life as we know it on Earth needs those things. A while back I was reading about bacteria that were found living on the outside of the ISS (international space station). Yes I know...it's just bacteria and close to Earth but that's in outer space.

It may happen. I think of an organism who could get his energy from the fision or fusion of its own atoms.
jomsim · 26-30, M
Some life on earth doesn't eat. They get energy from the sun or hydrothermal vents.
Groofydorkgerdo · 56-60, M
You mean like plants?
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Groofydorkgerdo 🙂 I suppose I should have asked about sentient life.
Groofydorkgerdo · 56-60, M
@WraithornOh yeah right ....

Anything is possible but energy needs to come from somewhere. I sort of doubt that intelligent life could be supported by photosynthesis or something similar.
@REMsleep ya changed your username :)
REMsleep · 41-45, F
