Basic phone only, for voice and text.
I don't need or want a so-called "smart" phone. I had one for a while, but soon had it unlocked, removed the card and sold it. It was heavy and bulky, and so difficult to use I missed calls and was unable to respond to recorded messages. I assume I could have obtained instructions somewhere, probably on-line, but I don't want to carry their print around everywhere just to help me make or answer the very occasional call.
Most of my calls are actually by land-line, and I need a proper PC anyway for its decently-sized keyboard and monitor, and to drive printers. This equipment now, particularly for the CAD programme I am trying to learn (TurboCAD). You can't use serious programmes like that or, say, Excel, on a portable telephone with no mouse and a screen the size of a beer-mat!
