It is less than one sigma away from the mean for women, so no I wouldn't consider it tall. I'm 5'10" which is pretty much exactly two sigmas away from the mean, so I guess that is a good threshold for being tall.

Frak I was wrong. 5'7" is just about exactly one sigma away from the mean. If you are using a looser definition of tall then I guess your height would be the threshold.
