I think the sale of Alaska to the USA is pretty final and that there is no real possibility for Alaska to join either one of its two bordering countries.

@Mustermann Like Greenland?
Mustermann · 36-40, M
I don't think Trump seriously thought he would get to buy Greenland. The real reason for making the suggestion was putting pressure on Denmark to do everything it can to stop Nordstream II. When that is in place US puppet Ukraine will lose it's key position as transit nation for Russian gas, which means that the USA loses an important tool against Russia.

@Mustermann Possession of Greenland also increases the USs claim to the Arctic. And any resources found there in future.
Mustermann · 36-40, M
@Lapochka That it does, but I don't think Trump really believed in getting to buy it.

@Mustermann Who knows what he thinks. In any case our claim is stronger.

@Lapochka This is just my theory. And yes, I agree with you and I do consider Russia as mainly a force for good in the world today.

@Mustermann everyone has good days and bad days. Russia's role in the world is to keep both America and China honest.
Mustermann · 36-40, M
@Lapochka America hasn't been honest for a very long time. But Russia does set limits for its meddling in other countries' internal affairs.

@Mustermann As I say no nation is perfect. But I think while the 20 Century was American, the 21st will be a good time to be Russian.
