So, what's the worst smell you couldn't get rid of in your home?

I can get rid of most things, but I live in an apartment. Someone brought in some really, really strongly scented food. Everything smells like it, and I can't identify it. Burnt popcorn is bad, but this is like perma-grease in the air.

As a former real estate broker I can tell you the two worst smells that will never leave an apartment are curry and borscht.
The smell sticks to the paint.

@AthrillatheHunt Don't forget heavy smokers. Those people were evicted months ago, the apartment was redone, but that area still smells like smoke.

Smoke is more on porous surfaces like rugs. I was referring to foods, but yeah, cig smoke lasts forever too.@raysam363]
