Would we survive?

Scenario: members of similar worlds are all that's left of humanity. We all live in the same city. We have what we need at our disposal to survive. Land to provide food, clean accessible water, materials. Our only constraint is if we can function as a community. Will we survive? Will humanity thrive or will we be doomed? How do you think the community would function and what would happen?

I think if someone came forward as a leader and managed to keep people focussed on the important things, and also had the wisdom to keep even the difficult people onside, perhaps we could do it. I know we look at the odd attitudes and behaviours on the site, but we shouldn't underestimate the skills, talent, and experience we have between us.

This isn't my speech to be leader, by the way. I don't want to be leader.
