I did have lasix and it mostly corrected my vision, except for reading newspaper-size print and smaller, and when the light is dim. I do OK with the computer screen though without glasses. So count me as 92.736% OK without glasses.
I think glasses are OK though. My preference is for rimless glasses. High tech ones with titanium sidebars that are (almost) unbreakable.

@Heartlander Lasix never corrects 100% but sounds like you had great success.

@Tomorrow Yes, so far, so good. About 10 years now. I considered split vision, correcting one for near the other for far, but wanted the luxury of seeing the same out of either eye.

@Heartlander That split contact thing is a nightmare. For me anyway.

I can imagine. I'm a bit of a bing reader/worker and occasionally like to just just read with one eye closed. In my mind it transfers the logic to the other side of the brain in hope of gaining a fresh perspective when there are too much confusion.
A good friend had a bit of a problem with his lasik. One eye took a while to heal.
I did mine along with removing cataracts, so I'm not sure which resulting benefit went with which procedure. Just brightening things up (visually) makes things clearer. Without the cataracts I don't think I would have done the lasik.

@Heartlander I'm glad it's working out for you!
