serious question here

but do people actually think posting memes is a valid form of evidence or proof of something seriously now there was someone on here running around (probably) because they think because they used a meme it’s evidence for their claims I mean if I used a meme of the tyrannosaurus rex from jurassic park would that be evidence for a real tyrannosaurus rex wandering down the street

A meme is proof of nothing. But it can be a clever commentary if used properly. Often more clever than the user could manage on their own.

@whowasthatmaskedman well they didn’t use it in a clever way they posted a meme and then stated that because they posted a meme it meant that they provided evidence for said belief

@MissTeriousAura But we dont have to believe them.. Do we?😉

@whowasthatmaskedman that’s not the point this person was very adamant that memes were valid forms of evidence and proof for their beliefs but it was only valid when they used memes as soon as I used a meme oh all of a sudden they were complaining about ad hominem’s then they wanted to pull the whole denial card
