@smrlwrld I don't know of any that run on gasoline, the closest I can think of is fuel oil or natural gas. About 60% of Canada's electricity comes from hydro but you need the right kind of geography for it.

Hydro electrical generation is very common but not enough to meet all of our requirements. Nice in theory. Not so good in reality.

@sexypreschooler yeah they do, it's just scaled up to huge power dams and connected to the electricity grid, and they use turbines and not paddle wheels.
