Do you easily remember dreams or nightmares you have?

I know some people can remember their dreams more accurately than others. For me I can recall most of it within like an hour after waking up but then the details get fuzzy.

Most dreams I thinks its 80-95% we don’t remember at ALL even after waking. And even in the “memorable dreams” the all except the biggest ones die in minutes. This is because the brain just JUST as you are waking up is in an in-between state called “Liminal time”. At times it could be you “see” your room and the real world but you also “see” the dream world as you prepare to leave.

The Peter Pan movie Hook did a GREAT job with this idea.

They played off the concept that Neverland (while somehow real) is in a dream realm. And that in the real world you forget about neverland. And in Neverland you forget about the real world.

If you want to remember your dream keep a pad of paper and a pen by your bedside. and write it down While you are groggy. That is the only sure way to catch it before it fades away.
