I've been watching some videos about people being racially profiled in the US

They present some pretty interesting statistics saying it's very likely to get randomly detained based on your ethnicity, if that were true, wouldn't there be very few illegal immigrants there? I doubt it's as common as they make it seem in those youtube videos but if it is so, wouldn't it be like "okay, you don't have an ID, you get deported"?
