What do you do if you accidentally sleep in on a day you’re supposed to go to work?

I’m pretty sure I’ve been marked as a no show now, I don’t know what to do. Wtf do I say? I’m like an hour late if I still go in

Depending on where you work, they may have already called in a substitute. Call, being sure to sound apologetic and upset, see if they still want you to come in, then go, looking a little less put-together than normal.

Accept any scolding meekly.
