What makes a person a troll?

Someone called me a "twisted troll" for being abrasive in my opinion about something. I'm not sure if he really knows the meaning of "troll". I feel like people use the word too freely every now and then.

Trolling is all about being deliberately offensive for the sake of upsetting people because that’s fun for a troll. If you enjoyed whatever your abrasive opinion did to him, then you could qualify.

@Reject My opinion didn't target him even, and my opinion wasn't intended to offend anyone. If someone feels offended by me, it's not my problem. It doesn't make me a troll

@SW-User I understand that initially you weren’t targeting anyone, but he didn’t call you a troll until after you replied to him.

@Reject And you think he was right for calling me a troll?

@SW-User That depends on if you enjoyed that exchange or not. Again, tolls have fun upsetting people.

@Reject No. And even though I did enjoy pissing him off because he got on my nerves, the entire experience was uncomfortable

@SW-User Aww, then no, you don’t have the true makings of a troll in that interaction, lol. Maybe just a bit... vindictive. Do you ever get uncomfortable with how much people suck up to you though? I mean you had a lot of hearts.
SW-User
@Reject Those hearts don't mean they're sucking up to me though. But I'm uncomfortable with people who kiss my ass too much.

@SW-User True, it doesn’t necessarily mean sucking up, but it can. Maybe I just saw it as sucking up because it’s not like that was a positive conversation. If it was I’d see it as support.
