These gold thingies were holding a giant mirror up. Can i just leave them there too??? I want to hang the mirror back where it was.

Yep. You can swing them out the way to paint fully

Will you be painting? If so you can take them down and then once the paint is dry nail them back into the holes they came out of or you can just paint around them. ;)
