If a friend of yours said they will try to cure your illness by doing witchcraft would you find it odd or would you think they truly care and trying

It's an awkward one. I've had reiki, reflexogy, cranio-sacral treatments and many variants on the form from loving friends with good intentions. The path of least resistance was to accept the gesture and talk about science on another occasion.
