Did Pat Garrett really shoot Billy the Kid?

@NativeOregonian A fellow surnamed Miller came into the debate near his life's end, as well.

I am however prone to think, that Pat did shoot Billy. If for nothing other than the fact that it was reported the Maxwell sister(s?) Washed, dressed, and provided a wake for Billy. They SAW him there, dead. And everyone knew everyone in an area like that back then, and had he lived, that would have spread like wildfire.

Not facts necessarily. Just sort of seeing it from all possible ways.

@TamarindCorncob I never heard that part of the story, but on the other hand I never really delved much into the old west.

@NativeOregonian I have always been fascinated by Pat Garrett...as opposed to the small time dude who ironically "made him famous." 😊
