Why is it that some people look better in pictures than they do in person and vice versa?

The iPhone light has the ability to make anyone look horrid.

@Aliveshock I wondered if there was an issue with iphone's in that way.

@SW-User From what I have seen the light changed the color of the face close up.

@Aliveshock That'd be my experience too. I also find it makes my hair look a lot lighter.

Sometimes a still photo doesn’t capture qualities that enhance someone’s looks—or that detract from them, in rl.
