When right-wingers claimed that former First Lady Michelle Obama was transgender, and the daughters (who look just like her and Barack) were adopted. Especially those who insisted that, despite school photos of Michelle as a little girl, and pictures of her pregnant. Special points for Joan Rivers’ death shortly after she tweeted that crap—the racist right claimed the Obamas had her murdered. 🙄

@SW-User I think what angered me the most were the attacks on Michelle and the First Daughters. Michelle was criticized for wearing a sleeveless dress, and there are still nude photos of Melania floating around. Michelle was even criticized for her height ! She and Melania are both 5’11”.

It’s obviously on a much different scale, but I think a lot of the criticisms and nitpicking of Serena Williams comes from the same place and probably from a lot of the same people. @bijouxbroussard
