Think I am justified in being angry at my job?

As long as we worked Wednesday and today we were told we would be paid for yesterday. However there are a few of us that just started and are still considered temps until our probationary period is over and will not be paid for yesterday.

Yeah I'm just a bit pissed right now. I was planning on not coming in tomorrow but now I have no choice.

That seems to be the norm for a lot of jobs. Some have 30 day probation and some 90. Sorry that they didn't tell you that ahead of time. But if you like that job? Then just grin and bear it for now. This is nothing unusual.
