Life... but only if I knew then, what I know now.

My retirement and retirement planning. I was in my late 60s and had been sick very little in my life. So I planned an active retirement. I didn't ever think that I would become seriously mentally and physically ill for 4 years right after I retired. I did not plan to be illegally evicted from my apartment of 28 years in the midst of the worst housing crisis since the end of WWII. By the time my disastrous 4 years were over and I was beginning my uphill climb toward what I hope will be full recovery, I had used up my savings and most of my belief in the possibility of an active retirement.

Go back to Yosemite and spend more time. I guess it’s always crowded but I would like to go when it’s a bit cooler after school started.
