Remember when so-called Scientists, including Evolutionists, were claiming that the Earth was expanding?

No. I don't remember them ever saying the earth was expanding. I do seem to recall them saying the universe was expanding but that is a totally different thing.

OK so I see that that was a theory. What exactly is your point? Science iis full of theories that have been disproven. That is exactly what science does is postulate theories and work to support or disprove them. (Notice I said support or disprove. It is difficult to prove a theory but once evidence is presented disproving a theory, it is disproven.) Is your point that SCIENCE presents a theory and then SCIENCE disproves that theory means that SCIENCE should be ignored in favor of religion?

BTW - I think I don't remember it is because the theory of plate tectonics became the accepted theory in the 1960's before I was born. It would have been silly for them to teach it when I was in school. @ISpeakTheTruth

Come on. Don't leave now just because you don't have an answer from your church. Use logic to formulate your own argument. @ISpeakTheTruth

God is also a theory with no scientific evidence. You apparently have no knowledge of science. In science you formulate a hypothesis and then design tests of that hypothesis. If the hypothesis is disproven it is disproven. In religion you formulate a myth and then discourage testing whether that myth is true or not.

I acknowledge that many scientific hypotheses were wrong. That is exactly how science works. However, many scientific hypotheses were tested multiple times and still not proven to be wrong. When religion has been tested and proven to be wrong, zealots incorrectly say it is because science is wrong rather than correctly stating that the hypothesis (myth) is wrong.

No amount of evidence will ever convince those who want to believe in the absence of truth. After all there are still people who believe the earth is flat. Ignorance truly is bliss to those who wish to believe in the absence of evidence. @ISpeakTheTruth

Well I am sure that in your church they teach that science supports Christianity but the reality is that we know for a fact that the earth is older than Christians taught. We know that evolution could not possibly have happened in 6 days. I could go on and on but the simple fact is that you have no desire to base you beliefs on observable facts but only on several books written by theologians that discourage testing their hypotheses rather than scientists who encourage testing theirs. I just hope you remember that it was science that gave us the polio vaccine and homogenized milk, it was religion that gave us a 4000 year old earth and prayer as the cure for the plague. @ISpeakTheTruth

That is absolute lunacy to say that the proof of Christianity is that Christians wrote books that prove their own myth. Using that logic anybody on trial for a crime could prove their own innocence by writing a statement verifying that they are innocent @ISpeakTheTruth
