Would you eat from a restaurant if you saw flies flying around inside?

So, about 5 months ago, I was in Kentucky and I stopped at a Blimpie's, which is a National sub restaurant chain similar to Subway or Jersey Mike's. As the lady was making my sandwich, I noticed flies flying around but I didn't say anything until one landed on the sandwich.

At first I was silent because I thought after she saw the fly land on my sandwich, she would offer to make me another and I would decline, politely and walk away. Instead, she just fanned fly away and ask me, "what veggies do you want?" I told her I no longer wanted the sandwich because a fly landed on it. She said, while looking directly at me, "well, I can't just throw it out."

Can you believe this lady? She thought I was going to eat maggots?! I said "okay," and I just walked off.
