Is there a specific reason why i dont see any catfish sushi?

I was thinking of going all raw. Right now, the only thing that i eat that isnt raw is canned tuna. I was thinking about eating raw fish as well. There is places to fish around here but its mostly catfish and that got me thinking. Sushi is made of all sorts of raw sea life. But ive never seen catfish. I wonder why. It cant be as simple as “it just isnt”. If it is then it can be done, and should be. Shouldnt it?

Catfish are bottom feeders and are more likely to have nasty parasites like tapeworm. Not a good idea to eat it raw.

Even certain sea fish are frozen first to kill parasites. Yet this is ineffective with many freshwater fish. Hence "most" sushi is made from sea fish.
