Yes there are times when the law should be broken.

It is acceptable to not follow the law when it is inhumane and goes against human rights. Some laws are just unreasonable and should always be questioned.

@TexChik good for you then, but there are many other countries with almost unbelievable laws.

@HannibalAteMeOut True...that's why I don't live there...😉

@TexChik some people have no choice, unfortunately.

I believe we should try to be good citizens. And that's is mostly following the law.
What event has or may occur that makes you feel breaking the law is the best choice?
To save life or property is reason enough to legally kill.

in spite of what Obama thinks, following the law is not discretionary. Either follow it or face justice in court.

@TexChik Sometimes you gotta do what you have to if you think something is wrong or immoral. Some will indeed choose court and jail if it leads to that.

Generally speaking, we should obey the law, but there is a place for civil disobedience.

If you got to ask...
TheunderdogofNY · 36-40, M
@MartinTheFirst if you have to ask then.......?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@TheunderdogofNY are you going to ask the chief of police if you are allowed to break the law too?
TheunderdogofNY · 36-40, M
@MartinTheFirst I'm asking your opinion on the matter. But that's fine if this is as far as you're willing to take it. Thanks for sharing.
