@LadyLynn I always got riduculed for washing the dishes before putting them in the diswasher. And to that annoying little girl in the cascade commercial, the dishwasher is for sanityzing the dishes during a proper rinse and heat dry.
@Vivaci Yep, that is the secret of cilantro, it was never meant to be eaten or used as garnish, it tastes like soap to us for a reason, it is soap. I learned this in high school, the parents of a classmate owned and operated a Chinese sit down joint, one of the fancier ones in Beaverton, Oregon, SW of Portland in the metro area. He told me while washing their produce, they would fill a sink full of lukewarm water, toss all their veggies in then a bunch of cilantro, swirl it around, drain the sink and then rinse off the produce in another sink. He said the amount of dirt and sediment left behind would make your jaw drop.
When toilet flushes and door opens 2 seconds later.. then they walk back into the kitchen.... yo dude that wasn’t enough time to wash your hands.....and now you’re prepping people’s food
@saragoodtimes oh I like eating them ! 😋😋😋. Before I ever knew him he took off to France after he graduated college , I think to try and avoid his destiny ... a 3rd generation oil man . But he went back and got a PhD and finished his second one after we married... so he accepted his fate
