What does Intrusive thoughts mean?
I have read that term in regards to ptsd or childhood trauma but does anyone know what it means? I prob know but just wanna see others wording for it.

A line of thought the keeps recurring and is easily triggered by some everyday things in life, not because those things are necessarily triggers in themselves but you have created such associations in your head so the thoughts are often coming. Seems there is no getting away from them.
