Did your mother ever tell you that there were starving children in China when you refused to eat a certain food that she served you?

No, she expected us to comply without any justifications, but she had a similar argument as to how food is a gift from god and so how could you not like something!! I, on the other hand, could not enjoy chocolates much as a kid because they reminded me of the kids of Africa, idk why exactly chocolates, maybe the colour of it resembled the pics I saw of charity ADs etc.
