How early do you wake up each morning?

I usually wake up at 5:30 during the school year but have been sleeping late since the boy is out of school, have been getting up about 7-7:30. This morning I got up at 4:30...it has been raining since 12:45 last night and woke up to hear rolling thunder...another round coming through right now.

I love waking up the the sound of rain. These days I’ve been waking up between 6-7 every morning.

@Effloresce I went to sleep in my recliner last night and woke up to close the windows in the sunroom and big loud drops of rain started falling just as I was doing that....rained all night. Gentle rain is a peaceful sound and a good way to sleep or wake up to.

I agree:) these days if it’s not raining I usually turn on the sound of rain on my phone just for some soothing white noise (my family snores like a bunch of dinosaurs)@cherokeepatti

@Effloresce I need to do that. I looked at small fans a couple days ago and was thinking one of those would make enough noise to help me sleep better. I have a ceiling fan but it stirs up the air a little too much.
