why do people like to have titles
Why do people like to have titles especially noble ones in England especially its this way
There is a QUEEN
Her children and PRINCE / PRINCESS
Usually retired politicians are made LORD / LADY
An honour that can be given to commoners for good work this sort of thing KNIGHT / DAME
Your title doesn't mean you get money or anything like that it just means you allow to give yourself this title
I was reading how in England a former politician who has been a hardcore socialist all his life and thought the House of Lords ( the second legislative body in the country ) there has been talk he might be made a Lord and he said he would be proud to serve as a Lord.
So here is a man who has been socialist all his life hates nobility but as soon as he is told he might b given a title and allowed to sit in the House of Lords its like oh forget the past look to the future as a Lord
So what is it about having a title people like so much
