For those of you who didn't grow up reading comic books as a kid, do you feel like you missed out when you watch those super hero movies now?

Or does Jason Momoa make up for it all? 馃槣

I think the entire genre is embarrassingly childish and I am continually amazed that these idiotic movies are intended for so-called adults.

@redredred Lol. It's just entertainment for when you dont want to have to follow a complicated plot.

@Tomorrow "Saving Private Ryan" wasn't complicated and it portrayed realistic heroes

It was sad and depressing. I saw it once. I won't see it again.
I don't need to sit around cry over movies. That's not light hearted entertainment for me. If that's your genre, try "Taking Chance". Another good movie, albeit slower than Saving Pvt Ryan, that celebrates our heros and is also sad and depressing. You will be in tears when it is over. I won't watch that again either.

As you night notice, those are not my types of movies or series. I'm glad you enjoy them.
