Kudimaar (killing of baby girls) as they're girls not boys. Common in India and, shamefully, some "Sikhs" (brainwashed into Hinduism ideology) use it.
Another is "Daaj," (or Biaaj)?? meaning man agrees to marry a woman if she/ her parents can pay the man's family, whether payment or give away land/ property to them. Again in India and again, a few so called "Sikhs" (really Hindus) use it.
I, in UK, married my wife who's in India. My parents and myself didn't ask for a single penny! Instead we gifted n showered them with gifts and love during/ after marriage. My family say one thing, "We are Sikhs. We don't accept Dowry and equally accept baby boy n girls..." Why? We're Sikhs! Not Hindus.

@Sazzio horrible things, some "traditions" should really just be left behind and only keep the good elements.
