I had to google it. It says it's an insect in its inactive immature form between larva and adult.
And also the name of some cosmetic brand.

@HannibalAteMeOut I like butterflies and read about them from time to time. But it has a longer story. My parents used to mention some stupid words I babbled as a baby and there was pupa in it and also something about pooping. It makes me instantly disgusted when I hear it. So when I learned there's actually such word in English I was like... 😖
