I have this slight suspicion that Mr. Trump might not be all that intelligent. Hush, though, I have encountered folk on SW recently who make him look like Einstein.

It's not about immigration from Mexico but about illegal and unvetted immigration from anywhere.
US border policies have turned our southern border into a free-fire zone. I'm a frequent visitor to the border area and the new normal is fear and violence. What was once a steady stream of day-visitors back and forth has given way to fear of being caught in the crossfire. My American friends who live within inches of the Rio Grand no longer go into Mexico. Period. My Mexican friends who live in Mexico now travel with body guards.

Even GODS can't save AMERICA..it's citizenry has turned unimaginative and trash

Soluition? No .... but it's a great symbolic gesture at the moment :) There's a wall around the White House. Why? It doesn't mean that people one one side or the other or either good or bad. It simply helps control the traffic. But yea, there's much more to it ....
... like US trade policies that exploit 2nd and 3rd world workers. So the only way a US company can build an affordable TV is to move the factory to just across the border in Mexico and pay Mexicans dirt wages? Unemployed Americans collect more in unemployment benefits and food stamps than the Mexicans earn who actually build the TV sets. To a Mexican worker being exploited, sneaking across the border does indeed sound like moral justice.
... and the drug policies .... and .... and ... and ....

Try asking anyone who has read letter E of economics...he will explain you with elementary math that trade is the best thing to do..if resources are to fully utilized...why would you want to employ third degree labor to produce goods that can be exported easily from Asia..instead use your youth for better scientific research...or building the WALL..haha

There's already a wall along a lot of the border. Some places can't have a wall like rivers. It is just something to get his toothless voters to stay motivated.
